The joint lapping of filament polyester tire waterproof layer is very important, which is directly related to the sealing integrity of the coiled material waterproof layer. If the joint is poorly lapped, water will seep into the coiled material waterproof layer along the joint gap. The joint overlap does not conform to the specifications or relevant special regulations, mainly reflected in the lap form and the lap length of the long side and the short side; The coiled material at the joint is not tightly bonded, with hollowing, mouth opening and edge warping; The joint is partially damaged and even cannot be overlapped.

According to the paving area and coiled material specification, measure and snap the line on the paving base according to the overlapping length specified in the specification and relevant regulations. During construction, the line shall be paved. The overlapping form shall also comply with the regulations. The facade shall be paved from bottom to top with double-layer coiled materials. The long side joints of the upper and lower layers shall be staggered by 1/3~1/2 width, and the short side joints of the two adjacent layers shall be staggered by 500mm, and the two layers of filament polyester tire shall not be paved vertically with each other.

It shall be noted that the lap length of the long side shall not be less than 80mm, and the lap length of the short side shall not be less than 80mm. The upper and lower layers of filament polyester tire shall not be laid perpendicular to each other. Pay attention to keep the joint dry and clean to avoid contamination. The joints and tenons shall be properly protected to avoid being polluted by the environment or cross processes. The joint lapping shall be carefully constructed, fully coated with binding material, and firmly pressed when finishing, and the extruded binding material shall be scraped flat with a scraper.

The coil joints with poor lapping shall be treated separately according to the specific situation. If the overlap does not meet the requirements and affects the waterproof effect, the waterproof layer can be laid again or added. If the joint is not firmly bonded, the factors affecting the bonding shall be eradicated first, and then the joint shall be firmly bonded again. If the joint is damaged or even cannot be overlapped, the method of additional coiled material can be adopted to repair it, that is, cut off the damaged part first, and then distinguish the layers, and then lay additional coiled material for overlapping.

If the part of the joint has been bonded with adhesive and is not easy to tear off, it can be baked with a torch light fire. Carefully tear off the bonded part layer by layer while it is hot. Do not damage the coiled material, and then clean the dirt on the surface of the filament polyester tire before overlapping construction.
