Polyester filament geotextile has the functions of water permeability, isolation, filtration, drainage and reinforcement. It can adapt to the uneven base, resist the damage of external construction forces, and maintain its original function under long-term load. It also has the ability to resist ultraviolet radiation and high temperature. When the temperature reaches 230 ℃, it still maintains its structural integrity and original physical function.
Polyester filament geotextile can diffuse relatively concentrated stress, and can also transfer stress from one object to another, so as to decompose stress, prevent soil from being damaged by external force, and play a protective role. It is used in river training, bank protection, bottom protection works, coastal moisture prevention, road slope protection and other works.
In order to improve the smoothness of the pavement, prevent reflection cracks and play the role of waterproof layer, a filament geotextile is laid between the base layer and the surface layer to prevent the base layer cracks from reflecting to the surface layer and play the role of waterproof layer. In order to prevent reflection cracks, a special highway geotextile is added between the asphalt overlay and the old cement silicon pavement.

The paving method of reinforced synchronous gravel seal layer and filament geotextile can cover the cracks and prevent leakage, because filament geotextile is used as the treatment material of subgrade pavement and original pavement, which can slow down the cracks of gravel seal layer, make the pavement structure stable and separate from gravel seal layer, and can extend the service life of the pavement.
300g polyester filament geotextile is generally used for the liner system. The geotextile used in the landfill site can protect the geomembrane, prevent it from affecting the anti-seepage function due to the damage of garbage or gravel, and maintain the geomembrane with a longer service life. The isolation function of geotextile can be used as the isolation layer between garbage, gravel or clay and gravel, preventing solid particles from flowing with liquid, thus affecting the anti-seepage effect of geotextile.
Joint method: lap, seam and welding methods are commonly used. The width of the seam and welding of polyester filament geotextile is generally more than 10 cm, while the lap width is generally more than 20 cm. Before overlapping, the filament geotextile shall be overlapped by not less than 15 cm. The needle shall be at least 25mm from the selvage. Any "missing needle" on the sewn geotextile must be re-sealed at the affected place.
